• Question: are living in straw huts a good option for the future ?

      At the moment, straw in the UK is used for animal bedding, energy generation and for growing mushrooms. The rest is reploughed into the earth. If this straw was used to build ALL of the houses in the UK that are built in 1 year, there would still be straw left over. Seeing as we’re not really using it for anything else, why don’t we use it to build houses?? It saves us from producing more bricks, more concrete, more steel etc. when its not really necessary!
