Question: do you enjoy your work and what do you think the main reason as to why you have always been fascinated by military aircraft is?

I really enjoy my work because it’s different every day. Sometimes I get a nice relaxing day where I can just get on with work at my own speed, chat to mates and listen to music on my Iphone. Some days I have loads to do and it can be really fast paced and exciting, or I may have to present to my bosses and it can be quite scary! but really rewarding. It’s really nice to have that balance and variety, I think you need a bit of both in life to keep it interesting!

It also definitely helps that I find the stuff I’m working on interesting. I find military aircraft fascinating because they are some of the most advanced bits of technology on the planet! They combine the latest computers, the newest fastest engines and the strongest materials designed using the latest computer modelling techniques. Some of it is also probably thanks to the computer games I used to play (like Battlefield on Xbox), I always found it fun to fly the planes! Unlike normal planes you and I go on, military jets also vary hugely in design, and the designs keep changing.
