      Hey Liam,

It is hard sometimes. At Uni, we had to grasp certain concepts in maths that i was unfamiliar with and we had to do some coding, which i’m still unsure about. I had to really concentrate and work on these things so I could pass my exams and coursework.

Now in my job the main difficult bits is juggling my doctorate and Buro Happold project work, there are only so many hours in a day! And at least a couple of those I want for sleeping lol! There are still some difficult concepts to grasp but that’s not where most of my effort goes.

It’s really important to get a good work/life balance; you can’t just spend all your time working, so when it really gets hard I ask for help. I’m not one to really ask for help usually, I keep thinking that I should be able to handle it all, but sometimes you just can’t, and I try and recognise when that is!

      Hope this helps 🙂

      Tish
