  Hello! some of these materials are very good at keeping heat in; walls made from straw bales are almost 3 times as insulating as a standard house walls. Usually materials which are light are good insulators because they are mainly air. This includes materials like sheep wool, straw, and plastic foam (which is what is usually used in buildings inside the walls). Hope this answers your question!
