I find my job very interesting as I every project I am working on is different from the next and I also have a lot of variation in the work I do from going out on site, to undertaking calculations on paper to reviewing drawings.
I chose this profession as loved to build things as a child and now I get to build bigger things!

I love my job; I get to be around inspirational and fun people and I get to work on projects to try and make them more sustainable! Sometimes there can be the odd boring meeting or tedious day but they are few and fair between.

I chose engineering because I couldn’t really see myself doing anything else! I love problem solving and i love science and it combined the two!

My job is very interesting, I’m learning so much about 1 thing, finding out new things every day! I like the variety of labs, reading, field trips and site visits! I felt that when I’d finished my undergraduate degree I’d only touched the surface on what there was to know about my area of study…..I wanted to know the rest!

I find my job really interesting, I am always working on and help design cutting edge technology and get to do lots of different experiments. No two days are ever the same.

My lecturer inspired me to do this type of engineering. In my final year I worked on the controls of an autonomous air vehicle (basically a vertical take off plane which could control itself!). I really enjoyed it and wanted to stay in controls. When I got to work I then got introduced to the environmental test aspect of controls. Its quite easy to move between engineering types, so I moved over and here I am!
