If money was no object and I was allowed to do ANYTHING……..I’d love to build a house with energy piles (the technology I’m researching to get energy from the ground to heat our house!) and test it over a number of years to see how it behaved! I’ve kit it out with sensors and thermonometers to see exactly what was happening in the ground.

Tricky one to know! I could be working on anything next year, even next month!

My company does a lot of work on navy ships. If you look at a navy ship they have tall masts with huge radars on top, and my company makes some of those! I could therefore be doing environmental tests on them, the sea is a very bad place for electronics with all that salt water spraying around the place.

But we also do work on robotic planes like the army “watchkeeper” http://www.army-technology.com/projects/watchkeeper/ so I might be running experiments on bits of that to make sure it’ll survive wherever the army go next!
