I work in different spaces, depending on what I am doing – I am in the office right now, but next week I could be in a plant room measuring performance of equipment, or a laboratory speaking with scientists, or in a conference room meeting with colleagues. I often sit in the cafe area and work – it depends.

I work in an office with about 10 other people…..if everyone is around! If I’m not in the office, I’ll be in the labs or on a site visit, so it’s a mixture really! Occasionally I’ll work from home (or my bed!) which gives a good variation if I loose concentration!

I work in different areas. Most of the time i’m in a comverted mill building in Bath with views over the city at a desk with the Sustainability team. Sometimes I’m at Uni at Bath or in Bristol, or reading papers at home (which means i can do laundry at the same time and stay in my PJs… coming to work in PJs is frowned upon unfortunately).

I have quite a big office, there are almost 2000 people on site split between three buildings. It isn’t cramped though, there is plenty of space. Everybody gets their own desk which is pretty big, and a computer. It is all open plan which looks like the picture in the link below

This helps because it means that we can talk to one another really easily and see who is about.
