Britain should choose a mixture of lots of different sources of energy – relying on 1 of them would be like only relying on a bus to get to work – if it stopped running, you’d be totally stuck!

There’s a good book – Renewable Energy Without Hot Air (it’s free online!) – it describes how if the UK was only to be powered by wind power, for example, the amount of space needed to build the wind turbines would take up the whole of the UK! So it would be impossible to use just 1 source of energy!

Another thing that should be looked at is the amount of energy used by people, if we can help people to use less energy, we might not need to make so much energy!!
