I couldn’t image doing any other job really! I enjoy researching things, designing this, and practical work. I’d also LOVE to be Kevin McCloud (Grand Designs presenter!)……… He’s one of my idols – fingers crossed I’ll get a chance to meet him at some point in life!

Getting to do something everyday that will mean when it finished I can point to it and say I built that. It is a great feeling much better then just having a written report.

Because being an engineer is what I am through and through; its not a job, it’s just how I think! It’s pretty nice being in a career where you know that how you think is what your bosses want. It’s also nice to be around like-minded people!

I’m an engineer because I wanted a job where I could be creative. I love coming up with solutions to tricky problems like the design of a component or how to make an object strong enough to survive vibration. It’s a really rewarding job, and a great career within which you can go a long way!
