Question: Why choose areoplanes, not trains they are used just as more with local civilians?

I really wanted to work on a subject that I found interesting, and having done a degree in Aerospace engineering and having liked aircraft from a young age I definitely wanted to work on them. I like the complexity of the controls and the extreme conditions that aircraft have to go through compared to trains, which makes them more of a challenge to design!
