Question: Why spacifically the university of Sheffield?

I came to the University of Sheffield as they run a special kind of PhD programme where you get to study a broad overview of the field you will be research before you start the very specific research that will make up the 3yrs of the 4yrs of study. Sheffield also have a very good engineering department. I’d visited the city before starting at the University as the UK School Games were held here which I volunteered for!
