Buying more equipment is not alway a good way to improve efficiency. Often, by providing information on how and when energy is used, you can identify opportunities for improving the efficiency of existing equipment. Also, people behaviour has a big influence on the energy performance of buildings. By presenting data in an informing way, people can perhaps adapt their behaviour to become less wasteful. It is not easy, but it can be very cost effective.
