Question: You said that with the bamboo, you would build a ginormous dome, but what if it started yo rain how would the bamboo be a good material to keep water out of the building?

  Good question, if I was to build a dome it would be to show the structural properties of the material. The waterproofing could be provided with an oversheet attached to the structure, much like with the Japan Pavilion building in my profile:
